HISTORY
MHB has been in business for over 20 years; however, the company's roots trace back nearly a half century. We have always been committed to providing customers with the highest standards of safety as well as a guarantee of quality work.
The fundamental principles of superior service and a dedication to employee safety have made us a success for over 40 years.
Marshall started in the window cleaning field in 1965 working on store fronts, cleaning and sealing concrete floors and cleaning commercial carpeting. In 1968, he acquired Keyport Window Cleaning, followed by purchases of Red Bank Window Cleaning and Long Branch Window Cleaning. These operations basically serviced store fronts, mid-rise office buildings and residential window cleaning, and also conducted a small amount of janitorial and floor waxing.
By the early 1970’s, dramatic price increases in real estate forced many companies and developers to start building high-rise commercial and multi-tenant buildings. This caused a problem for the janitorial service companies in that they were not prepared to handle these huge structures. In turn, Marshall invested in all types of electric scaffolding and also became very proficient in the operation of personnel lifts and the construction of pipe scaffolding, so that he and his crew would be able to ascend the new taller buildings with ease and could complete the job safely and quickly.
In 1990, Gretta and Marshall formed MHB Building Maintenance, Inc. and MHB Consulting Services. Today, MHB focuses its business on commercial properties, mid-and high-rise buildings, medical facilities, government offices and educational buildings.
COMMITTED TO SAFETY
All MHB technicians are well trained to use the most up-to-date equipment to perform each and every project. All technicians have completed the safety courses given by the IWCA.
We comply with all Federal, State and Local OSHA rules including the ANSI/IWCA – 14.1 window cleaning standards.
